Sagamihara International Lounge offers Japanese language classes where foreign citizens can learn Japanese and non-Japanese can enjoy the services of interpretation, translation and consultation. Lecture on Canada:
"Sleeping Tigers: The Asahi Baseball Story" will be presented

Date & Time: May 13th (Sun) 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Venue: Audiovisual Room on the second floor of Sagamilhara City Library (3-minute-walk from JR Yokohama Line Fuchinobe Station South Exit)

We will screen the documentary film, which is mainly about a Japanese Canadian baseball team, "Vancouver Asahi", lively played in the early 20th century. Also, a coordinator for International Relations from Canada will give us a talk about the background of this time in Canada.

Tea Party Forum for International Exchange (organized by the Tea Party Group)

Lifestyles and cultures of Colombia in South America will be introduced.

We are going to deepen our understanding of Russian and Chinese food cultures by cooking their food.
