Sagamihara International Lounge offers Japanese language classes where foreign citizens can learn Japanese and non-Japanese can enjoy the services of interpretation, translation and consultation. Look! Listen! and Try! WORLD ~Let's enjoy a wonderful Peru experience!~ (International Understanding Group)

Venue : conference room A/B on the second floor of the Sagamihara International Loung

Let’s enjoy a Cuzco city, Andes, Peru style Christmas! We will introduce you to the traditional dances, musical instruments and national clothing of Peru. You will also have a chance to try communicating in Spanish, and you'll learn about the traditional Christmas foods, eaten in Cuzco city. There will also be a display corner at LOUNGE, starting from a week before the event, so please feel free to visit us.

Tea Party Forum for international exchange

Date & Time : December 16th (Sun) 10 a.m.-noon
Venue : practive room 1 in Unicom Plaza Sagamihara (on the third floor of Bono Sagamiono South Mall)

Lifestyles and cultures of Côte d’Ivoire and Uganda will be introduced, and then, we'll exchange ideas with the people from Côte d’Ivoire and Uganda while drinking tea.
Maximum number of people: 48 (First-come, first-served basis. Please visit the venue if you would like to attend.)
Participation fee: 100 yen (free for junior high school students and below)

"SAGA-PRO" Canadian Course "Ginger-bread man and Christmas Eve!"

Lifestyles and customs of Laos will be introduced, we’ll then have the chance to exchange our cultural ideas with a native Laotian while drinking tea and eating cookies. We’re doing this event to deepen Japanese understanding of Laos, and to help make a society which is comfortable for all of us.

Participation fee: 100 yen (Free for jonior high school students and below.)

School admissions’ consultation meeting for the children before Entering elementary school or junior high school. (Foreign Residents' Educational Support Group)

Date & Time : January 27th (Sun) 1:30 p.m.- 4 p.m.
Venue : Lounge conference room on the 1st floor of Sagamihara International Lounge

This is a school admissions’ consultation meeting for parents whose children are before entering elementary school or junior high school, and are also related to foreign countries. We will watch a DVD with explanations about support from Sagamihara city’s education board, and the conditions of the schools and school life in general. You will also have the opportunity to hear about the conditions of the schools, from parents whose children have already entered.
Any parents whose children are related to foreign countries can join.
Participation fee: free
Anyone who is interested in it can join the discussion.
